曾經說過不再出Album的George Michael，今年出了新專輯《Symphonica》，但他不算食言，因這張大部分是他過去兩年Tour的Live Versions，只有少部分是重新錄音。
其實到了他這樣的地位，要寫一些超越自己過往的新作是非常困難的，反而隨意隨心地翻唱自己喜歡的歌，來得更加動聽。不必理會他的私生活如何，GM以行動證明，他的聲音質素維持超高水平，他沒有自暴自棄，更成熟且低調地演繹段段歌曲，配合Orchestra悠揚的音樂 ，令《Symphonica》成為一張很Classical的高格調流行專輯，絕對適合晚上聽。
選曲有一半來自GM以往的舊作，包括One More Try，Cowboys and Angels，Through，A Different Corner，Praying for Time等。另一半則是American Classics，如Feeling Good，I Remember You，Idols，My Baby Just Cares for Me等。
